We are here as your supportive Guides and Teachers in the planned Sessions, and one really important thing to note is that we are holding the intention for all that we share to be for your highest good, but we are not trained or practicing counsellors or psychologists and the Wisdom Within Retreat and Your Path In is not claiming to be offering support in this way, nor will we be providing personal psychological therapy, treatment or counselling.

By joining us on this Retreat, you acknowledge that the personal work we delve into in the Retreat may ask you to deeply reflect on your life in general, and your psychological and emotional world, which may involve remembering past experiences that may have been deeply moving or traumatic. We kindly ask you to accept full responsibility for any responses that you have to this work and agree that you will notify us of any adverse concerns and seek your own therapy treatment as needed separately from the Your Path In Retreat and Your Path In.

It can be a challenge that we are still grappling with the impacts of COVID-19 in 2022 and we know this can be concerning topic in more ways than one for many people, and we deeply respect all views and experiences in relation to this. To hold the in-person Retreat, we will need to honour all legislation regarding the venue that we are at, and travel to and from, from wherever you are coming from. We will be following both the venue’s COVID-Safe Plan and our own, and to support everyone to feel comfortable during the Retreat, we will have rapid antigen tests (RAT) and a no-touch thermometer available if needed.

If you feel unwell ahead of the Retreat, or you are coming from an area that has been declared to be in lockdown, please contact us to discuss ahead of time and we can make a plan, and it may mean that you cannot join us on Retreat sadly.

If you find that you become COVID-19 positive ahead of the Retreat and the isolation period means you cannot travel to the Retreat, please do not travel to join us, and we will deeply miss you, but as I am sure you can appreciate, we cannot risk the health of others and of going against any guidelines. If this happens, please get in touch with us to discuss any alternative options.

If you find you cannot join us on Retreat for any of the above reasons, unfortunately we will not be able to offer any refunds with respect to this as the timing will be too late with respect for all service providers, but we may be able to offer you a credit towards our next Retreat date, to be advised. In this scenario we would also love to extend a $500 AUD voucher to you for you to redeem for any Your Path In Programs, products or services in the next 12 months.

We will have RAT Tests available during the Retreat in case any of us begin to feel unwell. If any of these tests return a positive outcome, you will be able to isolate at the Retreat Centre for the remainder of the Retreat and we will provide you with your meals to your room and any requests that we are able to accommodate, and then we will support you to find further accommodation and support if needed.

If we find that the Northern Rivers, and specifically Byron Bay, is placed into lockdown during the time of the Retreat (preceding and post), and the Retreat cannot function, we will be able to provide you with a full refund or a credit to join us at a future date to be advised.

If you are travelling to join us at the Retreat, we recommend booking transferable transport options for this reason.

And despite all this preparation and precaution, we are deeply manifesting this not being an issue at all and having a vibrantly healthy group of incredible beings and facilitators where everyone gets to participate in all joyfully and to a limitless extent! And so it is.

We have had unprecedented weather in the beautiful Northern Rivers during 2022 and we are conscious that unforeseen events, including illness, may impact on our ability to hold the Retreat or facilitate certain planned sessions. If something does happen which is out of our control and means we cannot hold the Retreat as planned, we will notify you as soon as practically possible and provide a credit for the full amount you paid and which can be used for a future date to be advised. In this scenario, we would also love to extend you a $500 AUD voucher for you to redeem for any Your Path In Programs, products or services over the next 12 months as well.

If we find that, due to unforeseen events, a facilitator is unable to facilitate a planned Session at the Retreat, we will do our best to find a replacement facilitator for the impacted Session, or run an alternative Session that will equally nourish you.

If you are travelling to join us at the Retreat, we recommend booking transferable transport options and domestic travel insurance.

If your circumstances change and you can no longer attend the Retreat, and it is more than 30 days ahead of the Retreat commencing on 19 August 2022, and provided we can fill your space with our wait list, we will fill your space and provide you with a refund of what you had paid to date, less a Change Fee of $300 to compensate for the additional work required to re-fill your place.

If you find you can no longer attend the Retreat within 30 days of commencement of the Retreat, we will only be able to refund what you had paid if we do have a waitlist at that time, less the Change Fee above. You are welcome to find someone to take your spot as well.

We have a Duty of Care in all that we do with you and when you join us on Retreat, which means that, as far as is reasonably practicable, all the facilitators, guides and practitioners on the retreat are committed to ensuring the health and safety of all Retreat attendees.

Together with this, this Retreat is based on and supports us all to take self-responsibility and follow our inner knowing, and it is the responsibility of all participants to acknowledge that there is risk involved in attending the Retreat and in each activity available at the Retreat, and participants must choose whether each activity is right for them and be aware of the risks when they choose to participate in them.

To be able to book your place on this Retreat, you confirm that you are generally healthy, have no medical reasons that mean you shouldn’t take part in the Retreat, and agree to voluntarily take on the risks of the Retreat.

This forms part of our Voluntary Risk Assumption & Release Event Waiver which, after booking, you will be asked to review and sign to participate in the Retreat.
